Told by his father that the human body presented both the greatest difficulty and, at the same time, the greatest achievement in art, he pursued figurative art drawing and painting starting at age 7. Tadeo was born in Lima, Peru on August 30, 1977. In his continuous search for artistic development, Tadeo enrolled in the prestigious School of Fine Arts at age 18. A scarce U.S. Model 1814 Flintlock Rifle by Deringer, Philadelphia-made | H. Derringer, Philadelphia, Made 1814-1817 | Standard Lock Markings ABOVE . DERINGER Above €œPHILA€ | Barrel Markings: DERINGER Flat | .54-Caliber with a 33†Octagonal to Round Barrel, Overall length: 48.75†| Large oval iron patchbox, barrel bands secured by stud-springs; trigger guard with finger ridges and sling swivel, raised cheekpiece, flashpan for this model always mounted at inclined angle. The brass tipped ramrod retains its worm. The stock remains in very good original condition with minor wear to the wood. Slight pitting on the barrel consistent with age and period construction. Overall very good condition for age and use. Only 2,000 Model 1814 flintlock rifles were manufactured by Henry Deringer's shop in Philadelphia before production transitioned over to the very similar Model 1819 "Common Rifle." These rifles are among the earliest standardized U.S. military rifles and follow the Model 1803. 433 / 467 -

19th C American Second Empire Mahogany Recamier - American, mid to late 19th century. A Second Empire style mahogany recamier, having an upholstered sloping shaped seat back with a rounded crest rail, with scrolled arms, one dropping to form a foot rest, the seat rail and arm supports carved and mounted with foliated gilt ormolu, on scrolled legs. Upholstered in black fabric with gold fleur-de-lis. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 36", width 56", seat depth 18", seat to floor 17". 464 / 467
