1909 STEINWAY 7’ PATENT GRAND PIANO(RESTORED)
This Piano Has Exceptionally Rich Tone, and Stunning Bass Resonance. It is a Concert Quality Piano and in the Proper Hands, is More than Capable of Representing a wide range of Composers.
It is a 7’ Patent Grand, Model B, Sheraton Styled, Serial # 139490. It has been Restored, but the Fine Sound-board was Lovingly Curated with Northern Spruce Shims rather than lose its Beautiful Tone to a Lesser Board.
The Case is done in Magnificent Circassian Walnut, and the Grain was Book-Matched with a Beautiful Satin Luster.
The Piano was Completed on May 9, 1909, after being Made to Order for the Sessions Family of Bristol, CT (Makers of the World Renown Sessions Clocks).
The current owner bought the Sessions Home in 1983 and also purchased the piano at that time. This Piano is a piece of Exceptional Craftsmanship by itself, but Needs to be Heard to be Truly Appreciated.
