Bidding: You must be signed in and add a valid payment method to your account to place a bid. Our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If identical bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded the item if it is the high bid. Don't forget that you can place a maximum bid and the system will bid automatically and incrementally for you up to your maximum.
Payment: Payment must be fully completed within 24 hours of auction close. *If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account on CTBids and view Invoices/Receipts. Unpaid invoices result in buyer being blocked from further bidding until invoice is paid.
Pick-up:The pickup for this sale will be on August 11th, 2025 (9am-12:30pm) in Scottsdale, AZ 85262. The full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders' invoices. You MUST bring all necessary help, vehicles, materials, etc. for lifting and loading won items. Staff is not authorized to assist at pick-ups. Failure to pickup your winning items on the pickup day results in your item being forfeited and donated.
Shipping: Shipping is available on select items only (no rugs, furniture, or large items) at buyer's request and expense. Please see our Terms & Conditions on the listing below.
We will begin the shipping process on the day of pickup. You will receive a second invoice for handling + shipping to review and pay. We will have a shipping invoice sent out within seven (7) days from the day of pick up. Invoices are sent to the email linked to your CTBids account. If you have not received a shipping invoice within those seven days, it is your responsibility to reach out to caringtransitionspvaz@gmail.com or call 952-992-0008 for further information. You will have 30 days to pay your shipping invoice from its sent date. After 30 days of nonpayment of shipping invoice, your items will be deemed abandoned and you forfeit those items.
Terms: All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. All sales are final. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase and a winning bid is a contract between you and the seller. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold with no refund. Express Checkout: By having a credit card on file, you agree to the card maintenance terms outlined in point 1 under Payment Info. You also agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with Caring Transitions and that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law. A shipping or delivery invoice will be created, and charges will be discussed between you and the Seller; a shipping or delivery invoice must be paid before receiving items. If you do not elect a fulfillment method and do not pick the item(s) up during the scheduled pickup time outlined on our Terms and Conditions or your receipt, Caring Transitions reserves the right to charge your payment method on file for the greater of the total purchase price of the item plus any applicable handling and shipping charges or a $40.00 restocking fee and may ship the item to your address of record. You hereby expressly grant Caring Transitions the right to hold a winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received by Caring Transitions. Payment Information

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pick-up of your purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. If you win, you must pick up your item(s) or make shipping arrangements.
If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.
Bring necessary tools and help for pick-up. Loading help is NOT available. Items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out building.
Payment receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed and your payment has been processed. In the event your payment cannot be fully processed, full payment must be received within 24 hours or your items will be resold and your bidding privileges will be revoked. Full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders’ invoices. If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account on CTBids and visit Invoices/Receipts.
All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases of five thousand dollars ($5,000) or more will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller.
SHIPPING: Shipping is available at the buyer's expense including a $10 handling fee for the first lot and $5 for each additional lot. Please see Shipping Terms for additional details. NOT ALL LOTS CAN BE SHIPPED - NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS.
All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment.
A 18% Buyer's Premium plus Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
We have made every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Electronics have been plugged in and turned on, but not tested. Dimensions given may be approximate.
Bid Retraction: If you request a retraction of a bid, ALL of your bids will be retracted. We will NOT retract bids within 30 minutes of auction close.
Questions: ALL questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days.

There may or may not be available staff to assist in pick up. If we are to assist you in loading your items during pick up, we are not liable for any damage done to your items or your vehicle.

SHIPPING:

We ship via USPS Priority and Flat Rate as appropriate. However, sometimes we need to use UPS and FedEx.
Buyer will be responsible for paying all packing, shipping, and any desired insure charges. Please be aware that shipping charges can be very expensive and may even exceed the amount that you paid for the item, so please take that into consideration when placing your bids. If shipping is not paid for, item(s) will be considered abandoned property and will be resold or donated with no refund provided.
Please make sure your address is updated in CTBids BEFORE placing a bid. Items will be shipped to the address that appears on your invoice for that auction. If you have not updated your address, Caring Transitions is not liable for items sent to the wrong address.
