This is a very stunning antique hall clock made by Waterbury Clock Company around 1900. The case is of mahogany and lovely grain panels, carving of rope pattern and carved pendants and crown, the original brass moon face is very good, There are two weights , one tubular chime and pendulum. The clock was last serviced in the 1970-80's but not working by choice for several years we have not had it working as not familiar with placements of the weights. The weight wires etc are intact The clock will most likely need a cleaning and balancing. The clock is in three sections for easy move. bunn footings. The clock has a very nice natural finish and not heavy varnish and I did not notice any damage. Very well cared for, It has the original key On the back the label reads: Hall Clock No. 68 Manufactured by Waterbury Clock Company 45-47-49 Randolph Street Chicago 10 CORTP and 1 st San Fransico 44.146 Ingram St. Glassow 40 / 190 -

two portrait paintings- oil on canvas These are 18th or 19th century of the original done by an artist Diehl , the copies are antique most likely soon after the originals Johaneta Maydalena Shristiana Gohin Carl Christoph Gok paster in Allenkircen, It is listed online Johaneta who was German and married a German gentleman by the name of Carl who is the other portrait painting, The originals were done in 1762 . It is possible these paintings were done soon after in the 18th century or early 19th century If a family member or a organization such as a church wanted copies of the portraits to use in other buildings or to distribute to family the artist would utlize his mentors or studio artists to produce a replica oil painting from the original.. These are copies , original antique oil painted portraits from an original . The paintings have age but are in good condition as the rest of the items from this estate. The paintings have vivid colors and very little " cracking " of the paint. The frames are a painted gold wood with a small carved design as seen in the photos.
