Below the list of Terms & Conditions is a list of common words used in online auctions defined for new users.
All online auction companies have different rules and terms that you are required to follow. Please read the guidelines below to see ours.
All sales are final and all items are sold AS-IS. We provide as much information as possible on the condition of the item including if it has been tested and its working status at that time, any history that we may know about it, and any other relevant details that may help you make an informed decision on your purchase. That being said, NO warranties or guarantees of authenticity will be given unless otherwise SPECIFICALLY stated in the description of the item.
Top Shelf Estate Services Co. accepts Paypal and credit cards for our online auctions.
At this time, we do NOT charge a buyer’s premium. You can bid with confidence knowing that the price you see is the price you pay! (Plus shipping, of course.)
All items MUST be paid for within 48 hours of the auction end or the winning bidder will forfeit the item and may be banned from bidding on our future auctions.
All items will be shipped within 1-3 business days of receiving payment and we will happily combine shipping on multiple lots and refund you the difference back to your Paypal account.
All shipping prices are for the Continental 48 states. We will ship to other locations if arrangements are made before you bid.
We require a tracking number fore every package mailed and any fragile lots or a lot with a value over $50.00 will require insurance. You will be sent an email with all tracking information at the time of shipment.
If an item arrives to you broken due to shipping, you MUST notify Top Shelf Estate Services within 48 hours of receiving the item and pictures of the breakage will be REQUIRED and in most cases we will require that you ship the item back to us to receive a full refund.
We DO offer local pick up for anyone in or near Fort Worth, TX. The pick up must be within 3 days of the auction close and you will need to contact us for details on pick up locations and times.
We love our online auction experience and hope you will too! In order to keep this fun and enjoyable, we ask that you treat others with respect and courtesy. Everyone has a right to their opinion but name calling, "trolling," profanity, or general negativity will not be tolerated.
Auction Words Defined:
Lot - A "lot" is the specific item or group of items that are offered to be auctioned at one time. Some lots will have only one item and some will have many.
Bid - is the amount you are agreeing to pay for the lot that you are viewing. That amount will be listed clearly next to the "Bid Now" button.
Bidder - is any person who has put a bid on a lot.
Auto-bid - keeps you in the lead by placing a bid for you whenever you’re outbid. This option is best when you aren't able to watch the end of the auction to keep your bid current. Using auto-bid, when someone outbid you the computer will place the minimum allowable bid until you win the auction or your auto-bid is exceeded. Top Shelf Estate Services does not have access to your high bid at any point during the auction.
Extended bidding - Extended bidding is a feature that we added to help give you time to place a bid at the end of the auction. Whenever a bid is placed on a lot within the last 2 minutes of the lot closing, the time on the lot is extended by 2 minutes. This feature allows time for bidders to re-bid if another bidder steps in and places a bid right before the Lot closes.
