Treasure Trove of Yesteryear Part 3 | Bidding ends 3/12

PLEASE READ: Alternative pick-up dates are not available. We liquidate personal property often located in homes that are no longer occupied, and only have limited access granted by owners. Each item is marked shippable or local pickup. Please DO NOT bid on items marked local pickup if you cannot make the posted pick-up; or have someone else pick up your items. Items not picked up during the posted hours will be forfeited with NO REFUND. 

Maintenance of Payment Information — In order to place a bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees. You also agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with Caring Transitions and that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law. 

2. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) or making shipping/delivery arrangements. Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. 

3. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pickup of your purchases on the scheduled pickup date, unless you have made prior shipping/delivery arrangements. 

4. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out-building. 

5. Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases over five thousand dollars ($5,000) will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller; invoice must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for items won. If delivery or shipping is offered by Seller, then you must select your desired item receipt method on the receipt upon the close of the sale. A shipping or delivery invoice will be created, and charges will be discussed between you and the Seller; a shipping or delivery invoice must be paid before receiving items. If you do not elect a fulfillment method and do not pick the item(s) up during the scheduled pickup time outlined on the Seller location Terms and Conditions or your Receipt, Caring Transitions reserves the right to charge your payment method on file for the greater of the total purchase price of the item plus any applicable handling and shipping charges or a $40.00 restocking fee and may ship the item to your address of record. You hereby expressly grant Caring Transitions the right to hold a winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received by Caring Transitions. Winning bidders with questions on payment should reference the Knowledge Base or contact the Seller. 

6. If we do not hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will forfeited & resold to the next highest bidder. Additionally, your bidding privileges may be revoked. 

7. Shipping is available for SOME ITEMS at the Buyer's expense. We use USPS, FedEx and UPS mail. $5-10 handling charges will be added to your sales invoice, as well as additional materials charges if needed (mailing tubes, large boxes for paintings, etc). Invoices will be sent through Shipping Saint after the sale pickup day. 

8. Not all Lots can be shipped. If you require shipping, please reach out to sbush@caringtransitions.com to inquire and let us know you will need shipping. 

9. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the Estate without Payment. Therefore, if Total Payment is not received before the Local Pickup date & time, the items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges may be revoked. 

10. The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the invoice/receipt e-mailed after the auction closes. 

11. All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. No refunds will be given. 

12. A 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced. 

13. We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS, and where is. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate. 

14. Listings times have a soft close. Extra time may be added to ending times to allow bidders more time to win. This will give you time to receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid and mimics what happens in a live auction where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before making the sale. 

Payment Information

1. Upon sale closure, your card on file will be automatically processed for payment of all won items.
2. Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. 
3. If you receive an invoice that says "Unpaid" in the top left corner, your credit card may be expired and will need to be updated before the sale pickup day. 
4. To view your receipt, Login to your CTBIDS Account and go to: Invoices/Receipts. 
5. Should you have any issues regarding payment of an item, please e-mail Seller at sbush@caringtransitions.com 

Shipping Information

Local pick up is preferred. Shipping is available for select items at the seller's discretion and the buyer's expense. WE DO NOT PROVIDE EXPEDITED SHIPPING. ALL SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE A MINIMUM HANDLING FEE OF $12, possibly more if your items are breakable and require extra packing. This is in addition to the postage cost. Depending on the number of shipping orders and volume of current sales, it may take up to 2 weeks for your items to ship, even after we have created the label. If you are needing items to ship quickly, please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate you. If you are purchasing from out of area and win items that indicate "Shipping Available" you may choose the option to ship when replying to the Shipping Saint text/email after the sale closes. You will receive an invoice within one week with the shipping/handling charges to pay through Shipping Saint. If you are out-of-area and have won the bid on items that indicate "local pickup only", your items will not ship and will be forfeited with NO REFUND. We will occasionally make an exception and ship things marked "local pickup only" if we have been contacted in advance and agreed to make special arrangements.
