DIRECTIONS TO SALE: Take exit 5 off I-20 West; turn left on Austin Graybill Road that goes by Burger King; dead end Austin Graybill Road, then turn right on West Five Notch Road; turn left on Gregory Lake Road; go about 1/4 mile on Gregory Lake Road until you see a dirt road on the left: Hickory Nut Lodge Road; turn to the right almost in front of Hickory Nut Lodge Road by the set of mail boxes on the right; this 2 rut road is near a 2 story brick house on the right side of the road; go down this 2 rut road approximately 1/4 mile down in the woods and you will see the 2 houses in the woods where the estate sale is located. We will have signs on Gregory Lake Road to indicate where to turn to the right to get to the sale. This estate, consisting of two homes sitting on approximately 60 acres of wooded territory, was once known as a brothel around the latter part of the 1800’s. Not only does the land tell a story, but the items within have a long history.
Developments to the property will take place soon so both of the homes are being bulldozed. If you like old doors, mantles, and fixtures; this is a must for you. All items will be sold as is with no returns, no refunds, and no guarantees.
There will not be movers on the site. Please be sure to attend, prepared to haul all purchases on the same day. Also, bring someone who can move heavy items if you plan to purchase such.
One home has uneven floors, overgrown grass, vines, weeds, and most likely friendly and unfriendly creatures roaming the land. Not responsible for accidents, allergic reactions, bites, or any type harm. Please take precautions just as you would on a hiking trip through the woods.
