Incredible 1/8 Architectural Scale Model of The Church of the Redeemer Chapel and The Harriott Pinckney Home for Seamen, Charleston SC on the corner of East Bay and Market Streets. Lots of details. The building was erected in 1916 and the trustees of the Charleston Port Society and the Church of the Redeemer combined funds for support and maintenance. Both the home and chapel operated for almost 50 years. n the 1950s, when the time in port changed from several days to only 6-12 hours, the dock location changed making it difficult for seafarers to get to the chapel. As a result, the trustees were forced to sell the buildings. This is the contemporary version but still using the original blueprints, thanks to the Board of Architectural Review in Charleston. With Base Measures 36"x25"x11"tall. Approximately 26 lbs 262 / 288
