After 30 years of operating her successful upscale antique boutique Portobello in Chestnut Hill, Dr. Constance Clayton has decided to retire from her business and will be closing the doors permanently. The contents of her business will be up for auction on Saturday May 18th 10:00 am. Preview time 9:00 am.
Since 1955, Dr. Clayton played a very important role in the Philadelphia School District including holding the position of Superintendent from 1982 through 1993. Because of Dr. Clayton’s support of children in the education system, most of the proceeds from this sale will be donated to The Philadelphia School District. Her generous donation will benefit our schools so Please come out and show your support.
