We are so happy to be featuring original paintings and prints by Josh Gates! About the artist:  I’m captivated by fleeting conditions of weather and light, and their interaction with the urban environment. As an Oregon-raised longtime Portlander, I find the pervasively wet Pacific Northwest climate beautiful and inspiring. With a foundation in realist painting, I'm always experimenting with ways to combine visual languages and capture a dynamic moment or feeling-tone. In addition to my recent cityscape work, I also specialize in portraiture and hands. As a deaf artist, I want to share the expressive beauty of American Sign Language. My various bodies of work serve as channels for activism, humor, and simple aesthetic wonder.

Further: Dave's Dollarpalooza (AKA the garage) is fully loaded with a little bit of EVERYTHING. He'll sell you any individual item in there for $1 on Friday-Saturday and on Sunday he'll let you fill a box for $1!
