Terms and Conditions
The lots listed in this catalog are from the deceased estate of Danny Lebenstein and is being offered by Sterling Transitions Inc. as agent for consignor(s) subject to the following terms and conditions. By bidding at the auction you agree to be bound by these Conditions of Sale.
*Please note- Shipping is available on ALL items in this auction. Items come from the home of a smoker. There is one flight of stairs to second floor apartment with no elevator.
PREVIEW DATE: Friday, November 8 from 10:00am to 12:30pm in North Asheville. Call for an appointment and address. 828-338-8448
ONLINE SALE DATES: Bidding starts at 6:00am Wednesday, November 6th Lots will close every minute starting with Lot 1 at 5:00pm on Tuesday, November 12th. Individual closing will be extended 5 minutes when a new bid comes in within 5 minutes of lot closing.
PICK UP: Pick up your winnings in North Asheville on Wednesday, November 13th by appointment between 11 and 6pm Shipping available for ALL items in this auction.
SHIPPING: Shipping is offered within the Continental US for ALL lots in this sale. We will work with our local UPS store at 828-252-6930 If you have a preferred shipper for furniture, please coordinate the shipment pick up during our pick up times or call us to schedule a different pick up time. You must pay for your winning invoice within 24 hours of auction end. Once paid, UPS will pick up items and contact you with shipping options and pricing. If you would like an estimate, please call the store at 828-252-6930 with the item measurements. If item is left at UPS for two weeks and you have not returned their calls then our staff will donate the items even if it has been paid for.
PAYMENT INFO: You will receive an EMAIL with an attached invoice from Sterling Transitions Inc AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION, not after the item was sold. This email will include payment instructions via PayPal and instructions for pick up and shipping. Paypal requires a secure sign in and accepts all credit card payments. Buyer will need an account on Paypal.com and will use our email address to make payment, firstname.lastname@example.org, for payment on PayPal. or by typing in the following into your web browser. “https://www.paypal.me/SterlingTransitions” Call or Email us if you prefer a different payment method. *First time buyers will need to pay with credit card by PayPal or over the phone prior to pickup. **All items must be paid for within 24 hours of sale ending using Paypal or call / email us to communicate other payment preferences. Due diligence to verify the condition and description of a lot is the sole responsibility of the Bidder prior to placing any bid. No Returns.
Sterling Transitions Inc, offers lot descriptions to the best of its knowledge presented solely for the convenience of the Purchaser. Prospective bidders should investigate a lot thoroughly before bidding by reviewing all photos and descriptions and coming to preview prior to bidding. Sterling Transitions Inc. does not accept liability for any omissions or mistakes in the description or photos. A 15% Buyers Premium is added to all sold lots and is the responsibility of the buyer to pay. By bidding the Bidder acknowledges that Bidder has investigated the lot to his or her satisfaction or that Bidder has chosen not to do so, and agrees to accept the lot being bid on with no objections after the sale closes. We understand that sometimes things happen, so we ask for communication on your part as soon possible to let us know if you need to change pick up or cancel your bid. If we do not hear from you or you do not pay for your goods by the end of the pick up time then we will be unable to allow you to bid in future auctions with us. We apologize for the strict policy but this puts us in an unnecessary bind and we just ask you to call or email us ASAP if plans have changed.
