Quite possible the auction of the year for us and we are very pleased to be handling the living estate of Daniel and Carol Babcock or Rolla, MO. Mr. Babcock is a graduate of the class of 1953 from MIT and a prominant member of the USAF space program; as well a UMR professor. Carol was a local elementary school teacher and avid collector and auction goer with an eye for fine antiques. For over 35 years Mrs. Babcock has acquired a massive collection of museum quality anitiquities of all types. She is very proud of her collection and has taken careful measures to ensure that nothing was improperly dislpayed or stored. She has a wide variety of items inluding: over 300 pieces of 'Flow Blue' earthenware of various patterns and maker, large lot of sterling silver items, large lot of gold jewelry, a 18k gold I & MT Levitt London pocket watch, Vintage Ruger .22 pistol w/ box, beautiful antique Black Forrest hutch, many peices of small antique furniture, Several large primitives,several signed art works including David Planks, large lot of antique German chocolate molds, large lot of antique mirrors, and much much more.
