Large St. Michaels Waterfront Estate Online Auction

This is a Timed "Online Only" Auction.  

A Buyer's Premium of 15% plus 6% sales tax will be added to your invoice at the close of the auction.  Items must be picked up at the location and times listed below

Please read and review the Terms and Conditions of the Auction Sale.  While using this site and our services, and submitting any bid, you are signifying acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Caronna Estate Sales, LLC online auction and agree to the following:  

·   You are 18 years old.  

·   You will not manipulate the price of any item without the intent to purchase

·   Will not fail to deliver payment and fees associated with the winning bid of item(s)

·   Will not transfer or share your account information and/or bidder number with anyone.

·   You will not conduct fraudulent activities.

·   You will not bid on any item that may be sold only to persons at least twenty-one (21) years old, if you are under the age of twenty-one (21) years old. 

All Items are sold As-Is Where is with No Warranties Guarantees Expressed or Implied. All Sales are Final!

Your winning bid placed on this on-line auction represents an irrevocable contract and you are responsible for paying all amounts due to Caronna Estate Sales, LLC.  If you cannot pay for the items or agree to our terms and fees, Please Do Not Bid.   

Registration:

Bidders must pre-register with valid credit card payment information stored in your profile.  By providing your credit card information to Caronna Estate Sales, LLC you irrevocably authorize us to charge your credit card for the listing total purchase price of any winning bids with the buyer's premium associated with the sale, including applicable state taxes.  You also agree that you will maintain valid credit card information within your bidding account.  In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number(s) and email address at which they can be contacted.  This is to ensure good communication between Caronna Estate Sales, LLC and the bidder throughout any transactions. By accepting our terms, you agree to receive email notifications from us for future on-line auctions.  Customers who do not want to be notified may unsubscribe located at the bottom of the email notification.  

Sales Tax:

All sales are subject to Maryland Sales and Use Tax. Tax Exempt buyers must provide the appropriate state sales tax exemption certificate prior to the end of the auction.  Upon acceptance and validation, your purchase will not be taxed.  

Pick Up:

COVID-19 Update: 

Due to the issues of this COVID-19 Virus, Please be respectful and practice social distancing, and wear protective masks.  Please check each sale for specific pick up dates and times.    If you are the winning bidder of furniture/large pieces, you MUST bring help.  We will guide you to the piece for removal, our staff is not equipped to move furniture.  Be sure to bring the necessary equipment ( dollies, straps, rope, blankets) to do so. 

You must pick up your items at the day and time listed for each sale.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Most of our sales are under a strict timeline to have items removed promptly. Please bring your invoice with you to help us speed up the process in locating your items. 

Buyers hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Auctioneers and Sellers from any and all damages, claims, or liabilities from, and injuries to persons or death or property caused during the removal of items purchased.  The buyer is solely responsible for any damage to the real property caused by or during the removal of items purchased. you must bring help to lift, pack, and remove items from the sale.  Including tools to disconnect or dismantle.  Please remember to bring packing supplies, boxes, dollies etc. Needed for removal.  Our staff will not be able to assist in the removal process. 

Shipping:

Caronna Estate Sales, LLC will offer third party shipping services on items listed as "shipping available". The process after the end of our auctions,  1.) We charge the credit card on file for winning lots ONLY!  2.) We  transport your winning items to Postal Suites Plus located in Easton, MD. within two days of auction end, where Postal Suites Plus will contact you with your shipping fees.   Please be sure your Contact Information is up to date. Postal Suites Plus will only Ship to the address listed on your invoice.  They will only contact you twice with the shipping fees.  If no response, they will consider your items abandoned and will be retuned to Caronna Estate Sales, LLC.  This process does take some time once the sale is over, please be patient and contact our office immediately with any question.  Communication is Key throughout this entire process.  Most items are shipped UPSP Priority Mail., FEDEX, UPS  

Failure to Pick Up:

In the event you do not pick up your purchase during the designated time.   You agree that failure to receive any item in the event of abandonment DOES NOT relieve your responsibility to pay for the item or any other associated fees. You hereby authorize Caronna Estate Sales, LLC to charge your credit card for the purchase amount plus any taxes or fees and will not refund payment for the items.   Caronna Estate Sales, LLC may in its absolute and sole discretion, resell, dispose of or donate the items to a charity of Caronna Estate Sales, LLC choice. 

Payment:

We accept Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover, ( 3% Processing Fee) Cash, Approved Check, Cashier's Check.   At the end of the on-line auction, you will receive an invoice immediately following the sale. You will have two days to pay for your items.  We collect payment at the listed Pick up Location.   If no contact has been made within this period, we will charge the credit card on file. There is a $35.00 Returned Check Fee and your Credit Card on File will be Charged accordingly.  

Bidding:

All Bids must be place by the established increments listed for the sale and represent irrevocable offers to purchase that may not be withdrawn prior to close of auction .Items begin to close at the time scheduled.  Online sales are subject to a "soft close", if an item receives a bid within the last minute scheduled to end, it will stay open until all bids are received.      

Preview:

All items may be previewed at the date /time listed for each auction.  We encourage you to inspect all property in person and make your own determinations of condition, authenticity and other aspects of the property are of concern and important prior to bidding.  Caronna Estate Sales, LLC has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction, to provide the accurate descriptions of all items.   to accurately represent items for sale.  Our description is still only an opinion.  Items believed to be in good condition unless otherwise stated above.  The absence of a condition description does not imply the lot / item is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.  It is the bidders' responsibility to determine exact condition of your item.  Caronna Estate Sales, LLC makes no representations or warranties with respect to the authenticity or condition of any property and bidders agree to bid at their own risk and purchase the property as is.   Caronna Estate Sales, LLC shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser. Caronna Estate Sales, LLC reserves the right to withdrawal and or add any item(s)/lot(s) to the sale at any time and will not be liable to you or any third party if we withdraw an item, amend any content on the site or deny you access to the site or services.  

 Release and Indemnity:    Caronna Estate Sales, LLC will not be responsible for maintaining any insurance coverage for the items after they are sold.  You bear all risk of loss on all items sold through final delivery.  You, for yourself, expressly hereby forever release and discharge Caronna Estate Sales, LLC, its members, licensees, employees, agents, successors and assigns (collectively the “Released Parties”) against from any and all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, and from all acts of active or passive negligence on the part of the Released Parties whatso ever, direct or indirect, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, which the bidder now has or which may arise in the future on the account of or in any way growing out of or connected with any defects, latent or otherwise, or the physical condition of any of any items or lots purchased or any law or regulation applicable thereto.   Further, you, for yourself, your executors, heirs, successors and assigns, expressly agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, brought by on or behalf of any person and arising from or related in any way to any and all acts of active or passive negligence on the part of the Released Parties.  Further, you, for yourself, your executors, heirs, successors and assigns, expressly agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, brought against the Released Parties and resulting, in whole or in part, from your own negligence, passive or active, including any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, arising from or related in any way to any and all acts of active or passive negligence on the part of the Released Parties.  Further, you, for yourself, your executors, heirs, successors and assigns, expressly agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, brought against the Released Parties and resulting, in whole or in part, from your breach of this Agreement, or the inaccuracy of any representation or the breach of any warranty made herein.
