Document Seal from father-in-law's insurance company. It says "Macoupin County Mutual Fire Ins. Co." The Macoupin County Mutual Fire Insurance Company was established in 1874, with its office located in Carlinville, Illinois. During the 1990s, the company was managed by Louis Wilhite. This places its founding in the 19th century and aligns with the history of mutual fire insurance companies that served local communities in rural Illinois. The item is much older than Louis' time with the company but we don't have an exact date. 84 / 101 -
