Bidding Responsibilities:

• Placing a bid constitutes agreement to purchase
• Bidding privileges permanently revoked for defaults
• Must be available for pickup or shipping
• Fraud will be prosecuted to full extent of law
• Unclaimed items considered abandoned

Payment & Bidding:

• Valid payment information required in profile to bid
• Authorization given for auto-charging primary card for winning bids plus all fees
• Invoices under $5,000: Full amount auto-charged
• Invoices $5,000+: 10% auto-charged, remainder arranged with Seller
• 18% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax added to final bid
• Payment must clear before pickup/shipping

Item Condition:

• All items sold AS IS, WHERE IS
• No refunds or returns
• Normal wear expected on vintage/antique items
• Electronics verified to power on only
• Not all flaws listed
• Questions about condition must be asked before bidding

Shipping Options & Costs

• Shipping is available at the buyer's expense, which includes a minimum $15 per box handling fee, plus the cost of the box and packing materials. Postage costs will depend on the shipping destination, as well as the size and weight of the box.
• Shipping invoices must be paid within 14 days. Unpaid invoices after 15 days will result in forfeiture without refund. The $15 handling fee must be paid, or bidding privileges will be suspended until payment.
• No large furniture without pre-approval
• Buyers must update their shipping address before bidding.

Pickup

• Bring help to load and packing materials for your items
• A $75 disposal fee to be charged for unclaimed items, bidding privileges suspended until the fee is paid.
• No-shows may be banned from future auctions
• All guns must be picked up at a local gun shop. Bidder is responsible for all transfer fees.

Receipt & Documentation:

• Emailed after sale closes and payment processes
• Failed payments must be resolved within 24 hours
• Access invoices through CTBids account if not received
• Pickup address provided on winning invoice

Payment Information

1. Upon winning an item, your card on file will be automatically charged.
2. Receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has closed and payment is secured.
3. To view your receipt, log in to your CTBIDS account and navigate to Invoices/Receipts.
4. Caring Transitions reserves the right to re-sell items not paid for by noon the day before pick-up.

Shipping Information

General Shipping Information:

• Shipping is available for most non-furniture items at the buyer's expense. Very fragile or challenging lots might be taken directly to a local UPS location where UPS packages and ships the auction lots. UPS packing and supplies tend to be expensive, so plan accordingly when bidding. Shipping larger and/or fragile lots can be expensive.
• Individual auction lot(s) not available for shipping were chosen as non-shipping for a variety of reasons.

Post-Auction Process:

• Once the specific auction closes and payments are secured, the winning bidders will receive an email and text from ShippingSaint.com requesting winning bidders select how they want to receive their auction lot(s).
• If you selected “Shipping”, your auction lot will be moved to the CT shipping area for preparation, and you will receive an email and text from ShippingSaint.com with a separate invoice for shipping, handling, and materials when the auction lot(s) are ready for delivery/shipping.
• If you do not pay the additional invoice for shipping, handling, and materials, CT will consider your winning lot(s) abandoned and CT will dispose of them at their discretion. No refund for the original winning lot(s) will be provided.

Shipping Costs and Handling Fees:

• Shipping is at the buyer’s expense and for auction lots that are marked “Shippable”. CT typically selects the most economical shipping carrier.
• In addition to shipping carrier charges, there is a minimum handling/packaging charge of $15 per box to cover labor and a charge for materials.
• CT automatically acquires $100 insurance or the value of the auction lot(s), whichever is highest.
• A separate invoice will be provided to the buyer for shipping, handling, and materials. The invoice is typically generated within 3 to 7 days after the pick-up date. Occasionally, depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be a few more days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice.
• Not all auction lot(s) can be shipped. Additionally, if payment for the shipping and handling invoice is not received after 15 days of issuing the separate invoice, the auction lot(s) will be forfeited, and bidding privileges may be revoked. Disposal of auction lot(s) is performed at the discretion of CT and no refund will be made.

Special Shipping Requests:

• If you require shipping on an auction lot(s) that is indicated as not shippable, please send an email before bidding to SunCityFLOffice@CaringTransitions.com  to inquire and discuss shipping options.
