ABOUT THIS ESTATE: This Venice Estate auction features many fine pieces of furniture and furnishings. Originally from the estate of regionally known interior designer, this auction features both antique and contemporary pieces suitable for many decors.

This is an "as is; where is" auction. It is the buyer's responsibility to check the integrity and condition of the items that they bid on. We encourage perspective bidders to attend our scheduled preview. (Information above.)

If you are ill or showing signs or symptoms of illness, please do not attend. By participating in this event, you agree to indemnify both Crimson Auction & Estate Services and the owner of this property from any illness, injury or other condition which might arise.

**This auction has the availability for onsite pickup or shipping at the buyer's expense. We, Crimson Auction & Estate Services, do not assume any cost in shipping this includes paying for tracking/insurance for high value items. Crimson Auction & Estate Services releases the responsibility of the package once it has been turned over to the shipping carrier. Questions or concerns while the package is in transit must be relied directly to the shipping carrier.

AUCTION GUIDELINES & RULES

Buyer’s Premium is 15%.

Sales tax of 7% will be collected.

Auctioneer(s) will make all final determinations and settle all disputes.

Once you have won a lot(s) and are declared the winning bid; you are obligated to complete the purchase and take all items in the lot(s). You may not back out of a bid after being declared the winner.

Failure to finalize full and complete payment of won items by end of the stated auction pickup date; may result in the bidder being permanently banned from all of our future auctions & reported to EstateSales.org as a ‘high risk’ bidder. This may result in the loss of bidding privileges in other auctions hosted on the website.

· Reserves may be placed on some items and if the bidding does not reach the reserved amount, the lot will be 'passed' or ‘unsold’

· Lots that 'passed', ‘unsold’ or closed may not be reopened again for any reason.

This auction is 'as is where is' which means we do not guarantee condition of any item we auction. It is the responsibility of the bidder to make use of the allotted preview to personally check and/or verify the condition of any item.

During cataloging we use masking/painter’s tape to mark item by lots. We are not responsible in any way for damage sustained by tape to items.

· Items or lots in our catalog may be added/edited/removed as needed.

SHIPPING

We, (Crimson Auction & Estate Services) do not move, ship or transport any items. We also do not provide shipping quotes or options of any kind.

ALL shipping/package/moving questions are handled through our partnered Third-Party Shippers (either Cross Town Movers or The UPS Store)

At the conclusion of the auction, all winning bidders that requested/or are assumed shipping will be billed through the credit card on file (for the winning lots, buyer’s premium & sales tax) & their items will be transferred over to a Third-Party shipper.

The Third-Party will contact the winning bidder for shipping/moving/packaging options. They also will handle payment for those services.

BEFORE the end of the auction, shippable customers MUST update their shipping address in their profiles. We turn over the invoices to the Third-Party Shipper as is at the conclusion of the auction. All buyers with shipping addresses that are out of state are assumed for shipping & are auto-billed at the end of auction. 

It is the Buyer’s responsibility to work out arrangements with the Third-Party Shippers in question. WE WILL NOT REFUND any items if the Buyer’s changes their mind after the close of auction. The items will be considered “Abandoned Property” & may be donated, destroyed or re-auctioned.

All questions about tracking or delivery concerned must to be directed to the Third-Party Shipper. Crimson Auction & Estate Services will not make inquires or assist in any way.

IN-PERSON/LOCAL AUCTION PICKUP

Auction pickup is scheduled on Thursday, 12/03/2020 3PM - 6PM EST.

We, Crimson Auction & Estate Services, do not provide or facilitate shipping for any items.

If there are multiple people to pickup at the same time, we ask those waiting to stay in their vehicles & maintain a 6ft social distance from others.

· Admittance to the studio may be restricted to buyers that purchased larger items or furniture. All other items may be brought outside the home by staff.

· Full payment must be completed prior to receiving your items. All payments must be completed by 6PM EST day of the stated Auction Pickup date or you grant us permission to automatically bill your credit card on file.

· Payments to be fulfilled with cash are only accepted during the in-person auction pickup. There is NO discount for paying with this method. We no longer accept checks of any kind.

• · Items not picked up by the end of the above stated Auction Pickup date/time are considered 'abandoned property' and are either re-auctioned, donated or destroyed. Refunds are NOT give for items paid for and not picked up. It is the buyer's responsibility to pick up their items.

Any items that are moved (for private local pickup; subject to approval by Auctioneer) to our local studio in Port Charlotte for private pickup will incur a Moving Fee starting at $10 and may increase based on the size/weight of the item(s).

It is the buyer's responsibility to make all moving/delivery arrangements including but not limited to: people to help you move heavy items, bringing the necessary tools to disassemble items, containers or bins and/or protective wrap or cushion for breakable items. We, Crimson Auction & Estate Services, will not and do not provide any of these services. Please make your arrangements for these things prior to your time of pickup for a smooth and easy pickup.

· All sales are final & no refunds are given for any reason.
