This handsome, turn-of-the-century steamer trunk is a reminder of what holidays and vacations used to be like. Heavy. In the popular flat top style, this trunk still has its original hardware, leather straps around front, side and top, and inside decorative details despite being well over 100 years old. But it shows its age: a missing hinge for the lid makes the lid sit uneven when open; missing side leather handles for carrying; torn fabric holes on lid cover; nicks and scratches on its many journeys. Inside you can see its original construction, its two side ridges on which a shelf sat and the many scuffs and stains from high volume use. This classic is a little piece of history you can take with you! 301 / 310 -
Well look who's coming to dinner....unwrapped, unscathed and untouched (really?), Billy - the first gay doll - is pristine in his all-around, all-occasion black leathers and infamous Tom of Finland cap. The original packaging, complete with a San Francisco skyline backdrop, has cracks along the sides of the lid, and tape pieces. A perfect and edgy addition to any doll collection, this Billy doll is certain to cause a commotion. (Better make sure your Ken doll is safe with Barbie under lock and key!) 302 / 310 sold -

With the exception of the observable scratches on the surface of face, the token is in excellent condition. This "naughty bear spinner" would be better served by the following, taken from the Web site Tipsico Coin: "SOLD March, 2014 for $75. This actually a bit cheap, as COMPLETE, undamaged examples are probably worth more like $100, in my opinion. A famous, or perhaps infamous, souvenir of the 1915 PPIE: a spinner watch fob that when used as intended, shows what appears to be two copulating bears. Likely sold in the "Zone", the amusement park/midway that formed part of the grounds, where could be found all sorts of diversions and souvenirs, some of questionable nature as perceived by the standards of the time! These items are fragile as they are made of inexpensive metal, and typically found broken today - witness the endless parade of the center piece of this item sold on ebay as a "token" from the Expo. This is a nice sound piece, basically with just the original "antiqued" silvered surface worn off, and not easily found today as such."
