Daniele Francoise Dufour Lewis. Born jan. 1938. Lived in many major cities of the world in large apts and collected items from her travels. Loved to be surrounded by beauty. This is evidenced by her lovely collection from all over the globe! Her grandmother was Charles DeGaulle's chef. Her mother was a general in the French underground. Wow! What a story! Shared by her friend Myra~
What a variety!!! This fairly small household is one of the rarest of Asian and European collectibles we have seen in a long while. You will surely find some one of a kind treasure to gift a friend over this upcoming Holiday season...or maybe to give to yourself!
Don't miss this chance to shop from one heckuva diverse collection from (faux) Prada and Coco Chanel to Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dooney and Bourke, Coach, signed scarves, bag collection, designer ladies clothes (most are believed to be fakes on the designer purses scarves and clothing but you be the judge) textiles, handmade linens, European table designs, fabric, sewing, jewelry, Bronze Buddha and tons of rare books, artwork, custom metal designs, one of a kind furniture and boxes, trunks, cabinets, pottery and porcelains.
We have a large collection of hand-carved woodblocks, bronzes, hand-woven carpets and area rugs, curios, belt collection, silverware, frames, lithos, prints, paintings, plants, pots and more.
This is simply the most amazing Asian collection we have had to offer you all in years. The late owner, Daniele, was an import export dealer in the 60s with her husband and together they amassed a huge collection of very early primitive antiques from the Orient and the world. You will be beside yourselves with glee when you see just how much quality came out of one small apartment. We are forced to move it all to Kobasics Candy Rental Hall for a one day Tuesday sale as the apartment will not allow parking, signs or too much traffic. The place is literally PACKED with treasures. Much of it will not be unpacked until you arrive that day.
Do join us for great prices 9am-12noon, half price 12noon-3pm and boxlot pricing 3pm-4pm with free and donation going from 4pm-5pm on Tuesday only!
Great new photos of the clothing modeled will be added Sunday or Monday evening so check back then!
Thanks for the read. Jen and crew
