    Welcome to Caring Transitions of Del Sur Online Auctions!

    This is a NO RESERVE auction! Everything must go!

    **Pick-up is in San Diego, CA on Saturday, March 3RD from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.**

    Your bid is a contract to pay for the items you win. You are responsible for honoring it. Email or call if you have questions or difficulty processing your purchase.

    The payment deadline for items you win is Thursday, March 1st at NOON!

    Please pay your bill promptly! If not paid by deadline we will offer your items to the next bidder.

    ###strong Tax of 7.75% will be added to the final bid price.

    Responsible Bidding

    Be sure that the pick-up location and time will work prior to bidding.

    Bidding privileges may be suspended if you default on this agreement. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage and used items. We do our best to show/describe any flaws or defects, but all items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions are approximate. All sales are final. No refunds or credits will be issued.

    Our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. If bidding is occurring close to the item closing time, extra time will be added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If two bidders place identical bids on an item, the first bidder to place their bid will be awarded the item if they are the high bidder.

    Auction Terms & Conditions

    Local winning bidders MUST pick-up items on Saturday, March 3rd between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. The pick-up address will be provided on the invoice that is emailed to winning bidders. 

    Bidders are responsible for understanding the following Terms & Conditions of this auction:

     

    1.    An invoice will be generated for auction winners shortly after the auction ends. 

    You may access your own invoice as soon as you have won your item or you may wait until we email you a copy. The invoice will provide the purchase amount, the exact address for picking up your purchase, and the day(s) and hours of pick-up. If you win more than one item, it is best to wait until we email you your invoice so that you can make just a single payment.

     

    2.    Payment must be made using PayPal.

    You do not need to be a PayPal member to make payments. You may enter a credit card/debit card number or log in to your account if you have one. Payment must be processed by the payment deadline listed on your invoice. Please *do not* pay with an “eCheck”/checking account, as that method of payment can delay the processing of funds past the payment deadline.

     

    3.    Two additional charges will appear on your invoice. 

    ###p tax of 7.75% will also be added.

    REGISTERED RESELLERS - We must have a signed copy of your CA Resale Tax Form, which we will keep on file. Tax will not be removed without this signed form on file.

    4.    Customers MUST pay for auctioned property by NOON on Thursday, March 1st unless other arrangements have been made. 

    Customers who have not paid by that date/time forfeit any claim to the property and the property may be sold to another buyer. Exceptions to this rule will only be made if the customer has contacted us by phone before the payment deadline to make other arrangements which are agreeable to all parties.

     

    5.    Customers must pick up items at the appointed time/location.

    Property that has been paid for but is not picked up by the end of the pick-up period will be considered abandoned and subject to no refund. Exceptions to this rule will only be made if the customer has contacted us by phone before the pick-up period ends to make other arrangements which are agreeable to all parties.

     

    6.    Bidders must be prepared lift, carry, and load purchases in their vehicle. 

    You may need to bring your own boxes/totes, tools, straps, dollies, etc.  Bring your help and friends; you will need to carry your items to your vehicle. Items may be on multiple floors of the home, so be prepared. The team at Caring Transitions is not authorized to assist in the moving, lifting, or loading of items.

     

    7.    Everything is sold as is where is.

    No warranties are given or implied. All sales are final. If you have questions about operational status or the item’s condition, send an email with your question prior to bidding.   

     

    8.    SHIPPING: We are happy to try to facilitate the shipping of select items if you are out of town. Contact us BEFORE BIDDING to confirm that the item(s) can be shipped. 

    **SPECIAL SHIPPING TERMS ON THIS SALE ONLY: $10/LOT HANDLING FEE!

    Handling, packing, and shipping charges will apply, as well as any desired insurance. We ship via our local UPS Store. For UPS Estimates, call the UPS Store: 858-676-6800. *Please note: If shipping is not paid for, your items will be considered abandoned property. No refunds will be given, and items may be resold or donated. 

     

    9.    FAILURE TO PAY OR PICK UP

    Failure to pay for won items will result in items being resold and your name removed from our database. If you pay, but fail to pick up your items, you may (when possible) be charged a $50 haul out fee to meet at a later date. If your items are not picked up by then, they will be considered abandoned, you will forfeit your right to the items, and no refund will be issued. If you have any issues paying for, or picking up, your items we strongly encourage you to communicate with us as soon as possible.

    If you experience an emergency or need to make alternate arrangements, please email us at kevans@caringtransitions.com. Caring Transitions is under no obligation to meet any special requests. All late fees will apply to any alternate pick-up arrangements.
