A small, but unique Napa estate sale of Jack Eigen, his wife Dorothy, and his daughter Jacqueline. Jack Eigen was America's First Radio Broadcast Cafe Interviewer, and a friend to many entertainers. He started his career at the Copacabana Lounge, New York's busiest nightclub, where he worked every night from midnight to four in the morning. During this time he interviewed and befriended hundreds of stars from the 40s/50s/60s, most notably Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin (Dino), Bob Hope, Hugh Hefner, Dick Clark, Ann Margaret, and the list goes on. The sale includes sterling, gold, signed (and unsigned) Navajo and costume jewelry, New Mexico art, ephemera (such as a signed Western Telegram from Bing Crosby), signed personal letters from: Phyllis Diller, Dick Clark, Jerry Lewis, Marty Ingels, Governor Ronald Reagan, Jack Barry, Shelley Berman, Jane Russell, Betty Hutton, Ed Sullivan, and many more. There is also autographed photos personally inscribed to Jack from many actors including Milton Berle, Simone Signoret, and the Smother Brothers just to name a few celebrities as an example of what is available. There are candid photos of Jack through his extensive career sitting with the Rat Pack, Tony Bennett, Joan Crawford, Ben Vereen, Bob Conrad, Jane Mansfield, and so many other celebrities and politicians. There is 16mm film from a 1971 Playboy Club party Jack attended. There are also a few things from his His wife Dorothy (Dot) who was a competitive swimmer in the late 20s and early 30s so there are her medals and swimsuit photographs. There is also the usual household items: furniture, flat screen TVs, sofa, tables, linens, kitchen, lamps, china, projector and screen, easel, and unique garden/yard art. The photos taken only show a small amount of the items included in the sale. This is truly a sale that does not come around very often and we hope to see you there.
