Liquidating contents of a lovely estate with a view that's as spectacular as what's inside. This family not only moved across the country, they also lived in Hong Kong, China, Japan, and other Asian countries. The east coast home brought to the west late 17th century furniture, including an antique plate rack/buffet, drop-leaf barn table, old Dutch baby cradle, round table with Hitchcock chairs, large dining table with Windsor chairs, art & clocks, vintage oil lamps, antique cast iron Royal Warrant. The far east added art, decorative items, 1960s cloisonne jewelry & trinkets still new-in-box, Rosewood coffee table, rice china, Great Wall souvenir. Family heirlooms add vintage trunks, jewelry, crystal. Contents also include fishing gear with many poles, reels & lures, vintage clothing including hats, shoes, accessories. Stamps, coins, cameras, depression glass, china, signed art (listed artist), record albums, stacks of fine linens, contemporary furniture, full kitchen & pantry, king pillowtop bed, Whirlpool washer & dryer, freezer, children's toys & books, holiday decorations.
The view demanded a patio that's been filled with gorgeous potted plants in glazed pots, patio sets, garden supplies and tools, potted orchids, potted begonias, succulents, bird bath, ladders, lounges and more.
Sale will happen rain or shine. No previews or early sales. Photos should give you a pretty good idea of how wonderful this estate is. And, fair warning, many of the antiques are pricey but they're probably one-quarter of the price they're worth or you'd pay at auction. If you start a list you self-enforce how that goes. Hope to see you all soon! Don't miss this one!
