Wellington Estate Sales was founded by Michelle Wellington and Denise Godknecht, who bring more than 30 years of combined experience across real estate, resale, design, and high-level client service.

Through that experience, we recognized a clear gap in the traditional estate sale process. Too often, sales are approached as simple liquidation rather than as an important part of preparing a home, protecting the value of its contents, and helping a family move forward.

We offer a more organized, design-conscious, and value focused approach. We understand how thoughtful presentation, accurate pricing, and careful staging can directly affect the success of a sale. We also understand that downsizing, relocation, and other major life transitions, can be deeply overwhelming.

Our role is to make the process as seamless as possible. We handle every detail with discretion, professionalism, and respect for the home and the people behind it. Our goal is not simply to conduct a sale, it is to maximize value, prepare the property for its next chapter, and give our clients the clarity and confidence to move forward.
