Tumbleweed Found
About Tumbleweed Found
We have lived in Santa Cruz for over 33 years and our work experience includes working for over 11 years as a personal organizer/estate liquidator for families in transition or crisis, working for hospice, selling at antique markets and shows from Petaluma to Santa Barbara, and running our Consignment Shop (Antiques, Art & Found Objects with Stories and History), Tumbleweed Found since December 2023.
While we occasionally will hold a traditional estate sale, we now can help families downsize and liquidate in a unique way, We have an option designed for families who prefer not to hold estate sales in their home. This offers a faster option with privacy in times of grief and transition. This works well for estates with HOA, in more remote locations, storage units, estates that need to clear out quickly. We pick up your sellable items and bring it to our brick and mortar in downtown Santa Cruz. We have a processing space that allows us to go through items, pulling some items to sell on consignment in our shop (online or with our Bay Area auction partnerships) or to sell quicker through our "Found & Forward" 3-day monthly estate sales, at our location. Dana, the owner of Tumbleweed Found has the curiosity and passion of a museum curator and has created a beautiful, light filled space that's a pleasure to hang out in while you ponder an amazing collection of objects. I always find something there I want to know more about, who created it and who's hands it passed through...and Dana can answer these questions about the things she consigns. She helped my family with my father's estate with such care. I could not recommend her more highly for this task. She recognized the value in some objects I might have sent to the dump and was meticulous in her cataloging, also finding things of importance to our family that we were grateful not to have lost.”Adam R
