How The Junk & Disorderly Girls Began...
One day my mom and I were having brunch in LA.

The menu touted "unlimited bottomless mimosas,” and two ladies sitting next to us, well, they were certainly living up to the unlimited part... After some bottomless mimosas and feeling a little tipsy, the ladies decided to keep the fun going at their favorite flea market, the Melrose Trading post, and invited us to tag along. We were definitely up for a good flea market. Well, the ladies were having a little too much fun, perusing all the treasures, (vintage clothing, minks shawls, vintage Levi’s, clever up-cycled furniture and home furnishings, and all the vintage jewelry, it was like being a kid in a candy store) and ran into some trouble. A cop actually rolled up on the two ladies and told them they were acting drunk and disorderly.

That’s when one responded with "Actually Officer, more like Junk'd and Disorderly!”

And that’s when the concept for our company began—to take old vintage furniture, clothes, and knick-knacks, and repurpose them so they can last another 100 years.

We're an all-female founded startup, and we curate the best-of-the-best vintage things we can find and bring it to you. Being vintage didn’t always use be cool. But now with global warming, it pays to be vintage: not only in your wallet, but it also helps out Mother Nature. Buying vintage really shows you care about the state of our planet and the stories of our past.

So, what's our purpose?

Let us tell you, a portion of all TJDG's sales will go to help rebuild someone's life, giving them hope, courage, and confidence during a difficult time. We will help them face the tough road ahead and show them they are not alone.

It's sort of like Kickstarter > meets > GoFundMe > meets E-commerce! TJDG's will work with a single mom in need in our community, to provide extensive training and technical knowledge on how to launch a "Picker" business on Etsy. Our plan is to provide all the necessary coaching and 1:1 training for Etsy, SEO, and Social Media Marketing, along with a seed fund to help build up their inventory. Essentially, we'll provide a Single Mom in need all the tools she'll need to market, promote. and launch her very own "Vintage Collectible's business.
