About Sunshine Estate Liquidators
I’ve lived in south Hillsborough county since 1980. I’ve owned animals all my life and formerly ran a pet sitting service. I found pet sitting was often isolating and I missed interacting with people. Pet sitting involves trust, compassion, time management skills and organization. The idea of becoming a senior move manager evolved from a long-term pet sitting client who needed to downsize to an assisted living facility. There was no family close by and they asked me to help them pack and downsize their home. Cherished possessions told a story of work, kids, grand kids, extensive world travels and community service projects. It was a daunting task, but oh, what a sense of accomplishment and well-being I had when finished.
I felt a calling to expand my services to others who may find themselves in the same difficult position. Several years ago, I opened Sunshine Senior Movers. I offered downsizing sales to my clients who had belongings that were no longer needed in a smaller apartment. I have been exposed to antiques, art and all things vintage during my years as a military brat. I also had 30+ years in retail management. After a few well received sales, the phone started ringing. Now, the majority of my business is estate sales. We are here to help you during this difficult time. We handle your belongings with care and respect. There won't be any digging thru grandma's underwear drawer at our sales. All items are cleaned, priced and displayed in a way to maximize sales opportunity. We bring experience and expertise to every sale.
Sunshine Senior Movers carries insurance, has many referrals and references, both personal and business for your review.. I have a level 2 background check. All employees are background checked and work under my personal supervision.
