A FAMILY BUSINESS
Fred Boyd, our Chief Executive Officer, has been collecting and selling memorabilia for 25 years, since he was 7 years old. He grew up in the South and enjoyed attending auctions.
After high school, Fred was an offshore welder in the Gulf of Mexico. He then moved to Seattle and moved into sales; worked his way into management, and decided that Auctioneering was his calling.
Fred attended Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana, and started Charity auctions for baseball leagues, Clark College, high schools, churches, and Non-Profit organizations. In 2011, Fred Boyd teamed up with the Lyons Club.
Wade, his son, also attended the Western College of Auctioneering in 2002, and graduated. After Wade graduated from high school in 2005, he talked his dad into starting an auction company.
The rest, as they say, is history.
