Friday was a great day, but we're determined to liquidate everything from this house, so we're offering a discount of 30 percent off most marked prices!
The gentleman of this house spent decades working his way up the ladder at Bell Telephone, and saved a lot of little things along the way. From the pretty glass phone pole conductors to awards and signage, and even the architectural renderings of the Bell Telephone exhibit at the 1964 World's Fair. Since he was intimately involved in organizing that exhibit, he also saved a good deal of ephemera from that iconic event.
We also have a combination of antique and mid-century modern furniture including two dry sinks, a huge 1920s sideboard, a beautiful leather chair with birch trim, and a big metal desk.
Collectibles include dolls including Effanbee and other major brands, collector plates, and much more to come as the family goes through boxes.
Update: Nelson & Co. Colonial kitchenette has been added, as well as a variety of cooking and serving ware from the kitchen. A collection of Dept. 56 Snowbabies has been added. There is a record collection which focuses on the jazz-age music of the first half of the 20th century, as well as cassettes, 8-tracks and CDs. Many books. Numerous small decorative items from ornate picture frames to a Tiffany bud vase to antique glassware. A set of Bavarian gold-rimmed china. A small amount of Ronald Reagan memorabilia.
