SALE TERMS:
RESERVE BID: Unless indicated in auction description, some items may be subject to a RESERVE BID and if your high bid does not meet the reserve, it will not be the winning bid and you will not receive an invoice. The auctioneer is the sole ruling party on all disputes.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: A 15% buyer's premium will be added to total Online Auction bid amounts. SALES TAX: A 6% Sales Tax will be added for PA residents. An additional 2% Local rate is added to Philadelphia resident’s purchases. - Note* sales tax may be waived by purchasers who provide their valid state Pennsylvania resale certificate PRIOR to bidding.
PAYMENT TERMS: You will be invoiced within 24 hours after the auction and Payment is required immediately upon receipt of invoice. Failure to pay in a timely manner will result in your item(s) being relisted and you will not be able to participate in upcoming auctions. METHODS OF PAYMENT: We accept all major credit cards in addition to payments through PayPal and Stripe.
PICK-UP: All invoices must be prepaid before items can be picked up. Pickup times will be as indicated in individual auctions or at an alternate PRE-SCHEDULED appointment time. Items can be picked up at our auction gallery located at 4519 Tacony Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124 unless otherwise stated in auction description. Bring any necessary help and all moving tools or supplies. Items not picked up will be discarded or relisted-NO REFUND!. For SHIPPING TERMS see below.
SHIPPING (When offered): Our preferred method of delivery is local pick-up. We can ship any item that fit inside USPS Flat Rate Priority Boxes. Jewelry can be shipped in an envelope. We will gladly combine items. Since we have to physically transport items to post office, maximum Weight limit is 35 pounds. We will not handle or ship large, extremely heavy or odd shaped items. Buyer can use commercial shipper (UPS, Fedex, etc) Pack and Ship services and we will be happy to work with them. Shipping availability will be indicated in each auction and/or item’s description. If you are unsure of any item is or is not shippable, please call us at 215-469-4553 OR email us before the auction begins. Know that we only ship 1 day per week. Your item will be shipped approximate 5-7 working days After receipt of payment. Shipping charges cannot be used as a reason for you not to complete your contract.
CONDITION: We regularly receive 1,000’s of items for consignment from Estate Sales, Clean-Outs, Warehouse Liquidations, and/or other means. Many items have dirt and/or damage on it or to packaging, show age appropriate wear or oxidation, have missing stones, been previously repaired, chipped, etc. We usually do not test, repair, nor clean items. We try to check for obvious Major damages and try to indicate any noted major damage by way of photos or listing. Items are being described to the best of our abilities, as accurate as possible, and with utmost conscientiousness on our part, but we do not know nor see Everything. To avoid any potential oversights, we respectfully request your assistance in helping us to make this a mutually satisfactory transaction by doing your due diligence, viewing images carefully, doing research, checking shipping cost to you and asking all questions PRIOR TO BIDDING. Unique Vintique Auctions & Estate Sales is not the owner or seller of the auction items, but merely a bailee acting on behalf of the seller (Consignor) to facilitate the sale of their goods by holding the goods until such time as a sale is completed and the goods are relinquished to the buyer.
