This is a large vintage velvet wall hanging tapestry of a pirate ship and romanticized seascape featuring pirates pushing a dingy into the sea headed for their ship. Background-lighthouse and rugged mountain range and Mediterranean tree in the foreground detailed Art Nouveau floral border rich jewel tone colors of cobalt blue, red,greens and touches of peach and black. 42% Rayon, 37% waste cotton, 21% Cotton. Made in Italy! measuring approx 68in long x 48in tall in good condition and a magical piece for any room. 1960s
