Vintage Jim Beam “Yellow Roses” Regal China Bourbon Decanter with Presentation Case (1969)

This vintage Jim Beam bourbon decanter dates to 1969 and was produced by Regal China as part of Jim Beam’s long-running series of decorative ceramic decanters. Finished in a soft sage green glaze with white accents, gold trim, and a raised yellow rose motif at the center, the piece reflects the ornamental styling popular in late-1960s American barware and liquor collectibles. The front plaque identifies it as “Beam’s 150 Months Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey,” originally issued at 4/5 quart and 86 proof. The decanter is empty and retains its original ceramic stopper.

The underside is clearly marked “Genuine Regal China,” with a 1967 copyright stamp, which aligns with known production timelines for this model. The decanter itself is in very good vintage condition, presenting cleanly with consistent age-related crazing, light wear to the gold trim, and no visible cracks, chips, or repairs. It displays exceptionally well and remains a strong example of this widely collected Jim Beam series.

Included is the original red velvet-lined presentation case; however, the case is detached at the hinges and no longer closes as originally intended. The interior velvet shows age and wear consistent with storage and use. While the case still adds historical context and display value, it should be considered a companion piece rather than a functional protective enclosure.

Jim Beam decanters from this era are collected primarily as decorative Americana rather than rare ceramics, with value driven by visual appeal, completeness, and condition of the bottle itself.
