Straight from a Scottsdale estate – meet Grubby, Teddy Ruxpin’s loyal, multi-legged best friend from the original 1985 Worlds of Wonder collection! This is the real-deal 1985 animated plush (not the later reissue), complete with his signature big blue eyes, oversized snout, tufted head, curled tail, and soft orange fur that screams pure 80s nostalgia.Grubby was designed to “talk” and move in sync with Teddy Ruxpin via the connecting cable (cable NOT included – this one is sold exactly as found). He takes 4 C batteries (compartment is clean). Because there is no cable, we have not tested the animatronics, so he is being offered as a wonderful display piece or for the collector who already has a working Teddy or the cable. The plush itself is in very good vintage condition – no rips, tears, or major stains. There is some light, even age-related discoloration and surface wear typical of a well-loved 40-year-old toy (see all photos).Perfect for any 80s kid who grew up with Teddy Ruxpin and now wants to reunite the duo, or for a collector rounding out their Worlds of Wonder set.
