Virtual Online Estate Auction – Terms & Conditions
By registering and placing a bid, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. All Sales Are Final
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be accepted.
2. Item Descriptions
Every effort has been made to accurately describe and photograph each item. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review all photos and descriptions before placing a bid.
3. Bidding
- All bids are binding.
- The highest bidder at the close of the auction will be the purchaser.
- Canyon Estate Sales reserves the right to reject any bid or cancel an auction item if necessary.
4. Payment
- Payment is due immediately following the close of the auction unless otherwise stated.
- Accepted payment methods will be listed on the auction platform.
- Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the sale and suspension from future auctions.
5. ITEM PICKUP - this is a BIG ONE!
- Winning bidders MUST pick up their purchases during the scheduled pickup times on:
- SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 from 10am-3pm
- SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 from 10am-3pm
- PLEASE contact Nick at (925) 813-8335 to make your appointment day and time slot.
- Buyers are responsible for bringing adequate help, packing materials, and appropriate vehicles for loading purchases.
- Staff may have limited ability to assist with loading.
6. Abandoned Items
Items NOT picked up during the designated pickup window are considered abandoned and may be forfeited without refund.
7. Condition of Items
All items may show signs of age, wear, use, or imperfections. Bidders should carefully review all photographs before bidding.
8. Buyer’s Premium & Taxes
Any applicable buyer’s premium, sales tax, or required fees will be added to the final invoice unless the buyer provides valid documentation for exemption where permitted by law.
9. Removal of Items
Buyers are responsible for removing purchased items without causing damage to the property. Any damage caused during removal is the buyer’s responsibility.
10. Auction Changes
Canyon Estate Sales reserves the right to add, remove, or modify auction items, extend or end bidding, or cancel the auction if circumstances require.
11. Liability
Canyon Estate Sales, the property owner, and their representatives are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses occurring during item pickup or removal.
12. Agreement
By participating in this auction, bidders acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
