Up for auction is a great pair of vintage and antique carpenter’s spirit levels, perfect for collectors of classic hand tools or functional workshop decor. This lot includes two distinct styles from different eras of construction history:
• 1. M-D (Macklanburg-Duncan) Extruded Aluminum Level: A vintage 24-inch red box level. Features its original yellow and black product sticker and integrated hand grip cutouts. All bubble vials are intact. Shows typical minor scuffs and paint wear from authentic job site use.
• 2. Antique Brass-Bound Wooden Level: A classic wood spirit level featuring heavy protective brass end caps secured with flathead screws to prevent splitting. It features inset glass vials and smooth hand grips. The wood and brass both carry a gorgeous, authentic aged patina with minor oxidation on the metal surfaces.
Condition: Both items are pre-owned with cosmetic wear, scratches, and patina consistent with age and actual workshop use. Please review the detailed photos to assess the exact physical condition. Sold as-is as a pair.
