Some are concerned about French Quarter parking. The house is in a quiet, residential section of the Quarter, only a couple of blocks off Rampart. There is a private parking lot behind the house with a gate that leads into the patio. We will be able to let in a couple of cars at a time to pick up your items/load AFTER you have paid and made your selections. Furniture/books/large items can also be loaded out that way.
Three Pick up Days for this sale are as follows - Wednesday, November 15, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. We can be somwhat flexible on the pickups for this sale, so we can probably work something out. This house is small and we cannot have more than 5 customers in at any one time. Anything not picked up will be considered abandoned property after a reasonable time (a couple of days unless you have made other arrangements) and your credit card will be charged. ALL SALES FINAL.
Cash, major credit cards, debit cards accepted upon pickup. We give you the address AFTER you make your appointment.
Your card will NOT be automatically charged at the end of the auction, and you don't have to use it to pay - however, those that refuse to pick up or communicate with us after they have won an auction will have their purchases charged to their cards. If you bid on our auctions, you are giving us permission to do that. We do not charge a buyer's premium. You always have the option to pay cash if you pick up your items.
Cash payment preferred. Credit/debit card purchases are welcome - however, we charge a 4% convenience charge for all credit card purchases. All payment is collected at pick-up unless you prefer to go ahead and charge your purchases to the card number you have on file - if you want to pay cash, wait and pay at pickup.
All winning bidders will be contacted when the auction is complete (Sunday night or Monday after the sale). Pickup Appointments are REQUIRED. All invoices are sent out at the same time after the auction is completely over. Appointments are made on a first come, first served basis.
You are responsible for reading all auction descriptions and viewing all photos - we disclose any damage/issues and give measurements on pretty much everything. We try to mention every possible issue. The photos are considered part of the description, even if something in the photo is not mentioned. If you have a question, the time to ask it is BEFORE you bid...'cause after you're the high bidder, it's yours. Bids cannot be "cancelled" or retracted.
