The lots listed in this catalog are from the living estate of Diane Israel and consignees and is being offered by Sterling Transitions Inc. as agent for consignor(s) subject to the following terms and conditions. By bidding at the auction you agree to be bound by these Conditions of Sale.
PLEASE NOTE* This is a two part auction. AUCTION 1 includes Lots 1 - 235 closing on June 4 beginning at 4PM and AUCTION 2 includes Lots 236 - 434 closing on June 5 beginning at 4pm. It is listed as two different auctions on our website. Start Day, Preview and Pick Up days are the same. See below.
PREVIEW DATE: Monday, June 3, 2019 between 9am and 1pm. Open House. Call for address and gate code. 828-338-8448
ONLINE SALE DATES: This is AUCTION 2: Bidding starts at 6:00am Thursday, May 30, 2019. Lots will close every minute starting with Lot 1 at 4:00pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 Individual closing will be extended 5 minutes when a new bid comes in within 5 minutes of lot closing.
PICK UP: Two day pick up. Pick up your winnings from all auctions on either June 6 from 12pm to 6:30pm or June 7 from 8am to 1pm. Shipping available for some items (see descriptions).
SHIPPING: Shipping is offered within the Continental US for some lots in this sale. Look at individual descriptions to see if it is available. You must pay for your winning invoice within 24 hours of auction end. Once paid, our staff will take your items to UPS Store for shipping. The store will call you for shipping options and shipping payment. If you would like an estimate, please call the store at 828-252-6930 with the item measurements. If item is left at UPS for two weeks after we've dropped off then our staff will donate the items even if it has been paid for.
PAYMENT INFO: You will receive an EMAIL with an attached invoice from Sterling Transitions Inc AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION, not after the item was sold. This email will include payment instructions via PayPal and instructions for pick up and shipping. Paypal requires a secure sign in and accepts all credit card payments. Buyer will need an account on Paypal.com and will use our email address to make payment, info@sterlingtransitions.com, for payment on PayPal. or by typing in the following into your web browser. “https://www.paypal.me/SterlingTransitions†Call or Email us if you prefer a different payment method. **All items must be paid for within 24 hours of sale ending using Paypal or call / email us to communicate other payment preferences. Bring your paid invoice with you to pick up. Neither the auctioneer nor any consignor or staff member makes any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be deemed to have made any representation or statement at the sale or elsewhere to mean otherwise. Due diligence to verify the condition and description of a lot is the sole responsibility of the Bidder prior to placing any bid. No Returns.
Sterling Transitions Inc, offers lot descriptions to the best of its knowledge presented solely for the convenience of the Purchaser. Prospective bidders should investigate a lot thoroughly before bidding by reviewing all photos and descriptions and coming to preview prior to bidding. Sterling Transitions Inc. does not accept liability for any omissions or mistakes in the description or photos. A 15% Buyers Premium is added to all sold lots and is the responsibility of the buyer to pay. By bidding the Bidder acknowledges that Bidder has investigated the lot to his or her satisfaction or that Bidder has chosen not to do so, and agrees to accept the lot being bid on with no objections after the sale closes. If you are uncertain please contact us by email at info@sterlingtransitions.com with your questions PRIOR to bidding. If you are still uncertain after we reply, please refrain from bidding.
We understand that sometimes things happen, so we ask for communication on your part as soon possible to let us know if you need to change pick up or cancel your bid. If we do not hear from you or you do not pay for your goods by the end of the pick up time then we will be unable to allow you to bid in future auctions with us. We apologize for the strict policy but this puts us in an unnecessary bind and we just ask you to call or email us ASAP if plans have changed.
