    The lots listed in this catalog are from the deceased estate of Mr. Allen Hope and are being offered by Sterling Transitions Inc. as agent for consignor(s) subject to the following terms and conditions. By bidding at the auction you agree to be bound by these conditions of sale. 

    PREVIEW DATE: Preview will be Monday, June 15th 10:00am - 2:00pm by appointment only. Also feel free to email or call with any questions and we will do our best to answer and update lots. (828)338-8448. You are required to wear a mask and gloves during preview.

    ONLINE SALE DATES: Bidding starts at 6:00am Friday, June 12th. Lots will close every minute starting with Lot 1 at 5:00pm on Tuesday, June 16th. Individual closing will be extended 5 minutes when a new bid comes in within 5 minutes of lot closing.

    PICK UP: All pick ups BY APPOINTMENT.  No exceptions. Items will be picked up in Swannanoa area(exact address will be sent to you after auction ends) over three days : Wednesday, June 17th (11am to 6pm), Thursday, June 18th (9am to 5pm) and Friday, June 19th from (8:00am to 12pm). We ask that you pick up smalls only on the first day which will be boxed and ready for you. (You will need to pack your own breakables). Mask are required if you need to enter the home for larger items. Please do not come if you or anyone in your household has Covid-19 symptoms. We will find an alternative pick up option for you.

    SHIPPING: Shipping is offered within the Continental US for some lots in this sale. We will work with our local UPS store at 828-252-6930. You must pay for your winning invoice before 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 17th. Once paid, we will take items to the UPS Store and they will contact you with shipping options and pricing. If you would like a shipping estimate, please call the store at 828-252-6930 with the item measurements. We are not able to offer refunds if the shipping costs more than you anticipated. If item is left at UPS for two weeks and you have not returned their calls/email then our staff will donate the items even if it has been paid for.

    PAYMENT INFO: You will receive an EMAIL with an attached invoice from Sterling Transitions Inc AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION, not after the item was sold.   1. Go to Craigslist and find your city.
  2. Under For Sale, click on the Garage Sale category.
  3. Click on the Post link in the upper right corner of the page.
  4. Choose the Garage Sale category and then select your area. Craigslist doesn't have an Estate Sale category and this is the closest match.
  5. Add the title of your sale and the location.
  6. Add your email address and keep it anonymous to prevent spam.
  7. Copy & Paste the html code below into the Posting Description text box.
  8. Click Continue to add photos and publish your sale. You will receive a confirmation email from Craigslist to verify the sale. Activate your sale by clicking the link in your email and your done!
  9. Craigslist allows you to re-post your ad every 48 hours. Re-post any sooner and your ad may be subject to removal.
