REGISTRATION TO BID: Registration for our on-line auction is through the estatesale.org site. It is free but does require several important pieces of information. Bidders must be registered with a full name, address, and telephone number. An email address is also required so bidders may be sent winning bid notifications and auction invoices. Registration may only be completed with an acknowledgment that the bidder has read and understood all terms and conditions for the sale and online bidding.
INSPECTIONS/PREVIEWS: Auction items may be viewed Friday, April 5, 2019 from Noon-4 pm and Saturday, April 6 from Noon-4PM or at any time our retail store located at 544 Baxter Avenue. Louisville, KY 40204 is open.

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS: All descriptions and information are believed correct, but are not guaranteed as such by Renaissance By Design, LLC, its auctioneer, and/or the Seller and they shall not be held liable for inaccuracies in the information. It is always the Bidders responsibility to verify - prior to bidding, any information deemed critical to their decision to purchase. Preview opportunities are announced and available for potential bidders to physically inspect the items. Bidders are encouraged to inspect and research items in which they have interest to their full satisfaction prior to bidding. All items in this auction are being sold “as-is†and “where-is†with no guarantees or warranties of any kind including merchantability and/or fitness for any particular or special purpose.
BIDDING: Online bidding is to be considered a binding contract. Bids are taken with the general understanding that the bidder will honor their winning bid along with all applicable taxes and fees. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay. You will be automatically emailed if you are outbid and are welcome to enter a max bid (site will bid automatically for you only when another bid surpasses yours until your max bid is reached). Check back often and check your email for outbid notices. Notification of winning bids will be sent via email along with an auction invoice within 24 hours of the auction’s close. Check your "spam" email folder if you do not receive your invoice within that time frame.
CLOSE OF BIDDING: The bidding will begin to close at 7PM (Eastern Time Zone), Monday, April 15, 2019. The closing of some items may be extended in the event of last minute bidding.
EXTENDED BIDDING: All items in the auction will be subject to an extended ending, whereas at the close of the auction, any bidding activity on an item within 5 minutes of the closing time will automatically extend the bidding for 5 more minutes past the time of the last bid. The bidding on that lot will continue to remain open in 5 minute intervals as long as there is bidding activity within 5 minutes of the previous bid. Once there is no bidding activity within the 5 minute period, the bidding on that item will close. For example, if a lot is supposed to close at 7:00 PM but a last minute bid is placed at 6:59 PM, bidding will be extended until 7:05 PM. If another bid is placed on an item at 7:01 PM, bidding will then close at 7:06 PM, unless subsequent bids are placed.
PENALTIES: Any fraudulent bidding, illegal activity and/or negligence to provide proper payment in the allotted time will result in recourse to appropriate legal action and forfeiture of the rights to any of the auction items. Winning bidders who do not successfully complete the sale with timely pickup and full payment will be barred from all future sales conducted by our company and estatesales.org.
AUCTIONEER'S RIGHT TO BID: In accordance with KRS330.220(6)(a), it is hereby disclosed that, with permission from the sellers, the auctioneer and any auction staff members reserve the right to bid.
BUYER'S PREMIUM: A customary 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the winning bid of each item to determine the final selling price.
SALES TAX: Kentucky Sales Tax will be collected on all sales unless you have an exemption certificate on file with us.
PAYMENT: All items must be paid for in full prior to taking them from the premises and not later than 4PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Payment may be made by cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), good local personal check, Official Bank Check, or bank certified check. Winning bidders who do not successfully complete the sale with timely pickup and full payment will be barred from all future sales.
PICK UP INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE: All purchases can be picked up at 544 Baxter Avenue. Louisville, KY 40204 on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from Noon-7PM and Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 11AM - 4PM . All items must be removed on the pickup dates or you will incur a warehousing fee of $20. per day. Bring necessary boxes and protective wrap in which to transport your purchases safely to your destination.
SHIPPING: Generally items in this sale are not available for shipping. However, if you really want to bid on an item and would need that item shipped, we may be able to assist. Please contact our office to discuss shipping possibilities. We will coordinate with you prior to shipping to determine cost. Shipping costs – including packing fees, will be charged to your credit card before shipping occurs.
MAILING LIST: By bidding on any item in our sale, the bidder permits us to add them to our email mailing list. Bidders may opt out of any future emails by following the instructions in any mailing.
