Questions: All questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped and you have any questions or concerns, you must report this within 2 days of receiving your item.
Our auction site is designed to replicate a Live Auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to add another bid for that item. If identical bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded the item.
Don’t forget about Maximum Bidding! You can preset your high bid by using this feature and the system will bid automatically and incrementally for you up to your maximum.

1. Maintenance of Payment Information — In order to place a bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees. You also agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with Caring Transitions and that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.
2. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) or making shipping/delivery arrangements. Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.
3. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pickup of your purchases on the scheduled pickup date, unless you have made prior shipping/delivery arrangements.
4. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out-building.
5. Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases over five thousand dollars ($5,000) will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller; invoice must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for items won. If delivery or shipping is offered by Seller, then you must select your desired item receipt method on the receipt upon the close of the sale. A shipping or delivery invoice will be created, and charges will be discussed between you and the Seller; a shipping or delivery invoice must be paid before receiving items. If you do not elect a fulfillment method and do not pick the item(s) up during the scheduled pickup time outlined on the Seller location Terms and Conditions or your Receipt, Caring Transitions reserves the right to charge your payment method on file for the greater of the total purchase price of the item plus any applicable handling and shipping charges or a $40.00 restocking fee and may ship the item to your address of record. You hereby expressly grant Caring Transitions the right to hold a winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received by Caring Transitions. Winning bidders with questions on payment should reference the Knowledge Base or contact the Seller.
6. If we do not hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will forfeited & resold to the next highest bidder. Additionally, your bidding privileges may be revoked.
7. Shipping is available at the Buyer's expense. We use UPS/FedX, USPS mail.
8. Not all Lots can be shipped. If you require shipping, please reach out to pmazzeo@caringtransitions.com or call her at 602-684-9999 to inquire and let us know you will need shipping.
9. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the Estate without Payment. Therefore, if Total Payment is not received before the Local Pickup date & time, the items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges may be revoked.
10. The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the invoice/receipt e-mailed after the auction closes.
11. All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. No refunds will be given.
12. A 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
13. We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS, and where is. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate.
14. Listings times have a soft close. Extra time may be added to ending times to allow bidders more time to win. This will give you time to receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid and mimics what happens in a live auction where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before making the sale.
Payment Information
- Upon Item win, you will receive a square invoice to your email on file. The invoice needs to be paid prior to date and time scheduled for pickup. Items not paid for are forfeited and subject to resale.
- Receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured.
- To view your receipt, Login to your Estatesales.Org Account and go to: Invoices/Receipts.
- We reserve the right to re-sell items that are not paid for by noon the day before pick-up. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped.
- If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pick-up of your purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping or delivery arrangements. You will be charged a haul off fee, min. $100for larger items like furniture if you do not pick them up.

Shipping Information
- Local pick up is preferred. Shipping or Delivery is available for some items at the buyer's expense.
- After your item(s) are paid (may include Handling fee), you will receive a separate invoice for shipping charges. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice.

We process shipping lots about a week after pickup date. We send a separate invoice for shipping and packing charges via square. All purchases valued over $100 are shipped with insurance and require signature. One the invoice is paid, we will email you the information to track your package shipping.
