This is an online estate sale only. No in-person shopping. No one will be on site during the sale.
Questions & Due Diligence
- Buyers are strongly encouraged to ask all questions prior to bidding.
- By placing a bid, the buyer confirms they have reviewed all photos, descriptions, and terms and are satisfied with the item’s condition and details.
- Failure to ask questions before bidding does not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or dispute.
Payment & Invoicing - All payments must be processed through Stripe on the platform using any accepted credit card, debit card, or payment app supported by Stripe.
- No payments will be accepted at pickup. Purchases must be fully paid through the platform before items are released.
- After an item closes, the seller will obtain the buyer’s shipping information, calculate shipping (if applicable), and send a final invoice—typically within one (1) hour of auction close.
- Payment of the final invoice, including shipping, must be received within forty‑eight (48) hours of invoice delivery.
- Items not paid within this timeframe may be offered to the next highest (backup) bidder.
Item Condition & Final Sale
- All items are sold AS IS.
- All sales are final.
- No refunds, returns, exchanges, chargebacks, or guarantees of any kind.
- Descriptions and photographs are provided to the best of our ability and are not warranties.
Shipping
- Shipping is paid by the buyer.
- Small items (including jewelry, figurines, collectibles, typically priced $5–$25) will be shipped via USPS.
- Buyers may request insurance at their own expense.
- AEP Estate Sales is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays once items are transferred to the shipping carrier.
- Large items (e.g., oversized art, statues, furniture) cannot be shipped and must be picked up by the buyer. Shipping or delivery arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
Local Pickup
- Local pickup is available by appointment only after payment has been completed through the platform.
- Buyers are responsible for providing their own labor, packing materials, equipment, and transportation.
- No payments or partial payments will be accepted at pickup.
Pickup Deadline & Forfeiture
- All items must be picked up within seven (7) days of the scheduled pickup date.
- Items not picked up within this timeframe will be considered abandoned and forfeited, with no refunds issued, unless prior written arrangements have been made.
Large, Fragile, or High‑Value Items - Buyers assume full responsibility for handling, packing, transport, and insurance.
- Responsibility transfers to the buyer once items are released for pickup or shipped.
Cross‑Platform Sales - Items may be listed on other platforms and are subject to prior sale. Listings may be removed at any time.
Non‑Payment / Backup Buyers
- Failure to pay the final invoice within forty‑eight (48) hours may result in the item being offered to the next highest bidder.
- Non‑payment may result in loss of future bidding privileges.
Authenticity Disclaimer - All items are represented based on information available at the time of listing.
- No guarantees of age, origin, artist, provenance, or authenticity are expressed or implied.
- Buyers are encouraged to conduct their own research prior to bidding.
Liability - AEP Estate Sales and the seller are not responsible for loss, damage, or delays once items have been released for pickup or shipment.
