Among the ancient story of the Nativity, Kaspar is often remembered as the Magi who carried frankincense—an offering of reverence, purity, and honor. In this vintage AVON porcelain sculpture, Kaspar is portrayed with quiet humility, one hand pressed to his chest as though acknowledging the sacred moment he has reached. His other hand cradles a lidded vessel, soft in form and smooth to the touch, echoing the symbolic gift he brings.

The matte white finish gives the piece a stone-carved appearance, capturing shadows in the folds of his robe and in the gentle lines of his face. A high turban rises into sculpted feathers, and the layered drapery adds weight and realism to his stance. Produced in the 1980s as part of AVON’s collectible Nativity series, Kaspar was crafted in limited seasonal runs, making well-preserved examples increasingly rare.
