The December Holiday auction is here again! The auction features a wide selection of fine art, antiques, original artwork, sterling silver, fine & estate jewelry, a large collection of Lladros, Rookwood pottery, Lalique & sterling ornaments, and a wide selection of trains and gifts! The auction is currently accepting registration and absentee bidding on Live Auctioneers & Invaluable. The auction goes Live Online Sunday, December 8th at 1:00pm. Previews are available Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm.
Fine Art includes an Alice Ravenel Huger Smith (1876-1958) Original "Blue Heron" Watercolor, Basil Ede Large Tundra Swan, a large Paul Dubois Bronze "Le Courage Militaire", circa 1880, two Gracie hand painted wallpaper panels,
Monumental Sterling Silver includes a large Gorham silver basket, Dominik & Haff sterling aesthetic centerpiece, 19thC. Irish potato ring, Repousse sterling, American coin silver, 5 piece coffee/tea service, and other sterling and coin silver serving pieces.
From the Estate of Dr. Fraser Wilson*, Charleston SC comes Monumental sterling silver, a pair of Louis XV alabaster candelabras, 19thC. pair of giltwood mirrored 2 light wall sconces, German & Asian porcelain, 50+ pieces of 19th C. Canton Ware, Japanese woodblocks, and several pieces of antique furniture.
Holiday related items include 50+ Lladros including rare & retired patterns; Lalique, Steuben, sterling & Waterford ornaments; and Lionel, Zephyr, Fleischmann, & American Flyer trains and accessories.
The porcelain selection features several Dresden Figural lamps, centerpieces, and urns on pedestals; a Meiselman Italian Majolica urn; a pair of Jacob Petit old Paris urns; as well as Chinese porcelain jars.
The Estate of Brigadier General Archibald Lyon is also represented in the auction with "Le Courage Militaire", circa 1880, cast and patinated bronze, and other fine antique pieces.

*Dr. Wilson was a Life Trustee of Historic Charleston Foundation and opened his home for house tours for 39 years. He was repeatedly appointed to the South Carolina Governor's Mansion Commission and was awarded the Order of the Palmetto by the Governors for his exemplary service. Additionally, he was a member of the Charleston Club, the South Carolina Society, the St. Andrew's Society, the St. Cecilia Society, the Agricultural Society and the Carolina Yacht Club.
