About TOIZRIT, Inc.
TOIZRIT, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Jon Bertolino. It all started from a conversation with a friend reminiscing about old hobbies they had as kids. Little did he know this would turn into a profitable business after 37 years of collecting his favorite toys from childhood.
In 1998, Mattel’s public relations firm selected him to be a spokesperson for Mattel Hot Wheels; he was flown out to Los Angeles, CA, to participate in live televised interviews with Gary Swisher, Director of Design at Mattel.
In addition to all this, Toizrit, Inc. was listed on Mattel’s Stock Report in 1998 in a press release sharing Toizrit’s specialties with Hot Wheels. Additionally, he was listed on Mattel’s 1999 Interactive Collector’s CD-ROM as a person who contributed cars for production efforts.
In 1997, he fully incorporated Toizrit, Inc., giving him the opportunity to better optimize his buying strategy to grow the business into a variety of antique and vintage collectibles, including vintage toys, watches, clocks, pens, and a full division devoted to vintage snowmobiles, for which he has written several books sharing his knowledge of the sport and his passion for vintage Yamaha snowmobiles.
