About Susan Nicole Arts
Susan Nicole Arts
Susan Delgado, also known as Susan Nicole Arts, is a Cuban-American fine artist from Brooklyn, New York. Her creative journey began early as a path of self-discovery, with art becoming her diary, her escape, and ultimately her passion.
Before fully committing to her art, Susan built a successful career as a graphic designer and web developer at The Cardiovascular Research Foundation, creating websites and materials for prestigious institutions. She also tutored students for the Learning Research Foundation, teaching multimedia, design, and animation. She currently offers private one-on-one tutoring on Wyzant, sharing her skills and experience with students.
As a fine art painter, Susan works primarily in oil while also exploring acrylics and other mediums. Her current work focuses on various subject matters, as she continues to study and refine her craft, aspiring to become a fantasy realism artist. Influenced by the Old Masters including the Pre-Raphaelite, Neoclassical, Rococo, and Baroque movements. As well as contemporary fantasy artists—including Alan Lee, John Howe, Patrick Jones, and Annie Stegg— Susan seeks to learn how to blend the timeless beauty of historical art with the imaginative worlds of fantasy realism.
