HISTORY OF THE PINEAPPLE
During early Colonial days in the United States, families would set a fresh pineapple in the center of the table as a colorful centerpiece of the festive meal, especially when visitors joined them in celebration. This symbolized the utmost in welcome and hospitality to the visitor, and the fruit would be served as a special desert after the meal. Often when the visitor spent the night, he was given the bedroom which had the pineapples carved on the bedposts or headboard–even if the bedroom belonged to the head of the household.
We at Pineapple Estate Sales carry on this tradition of a sense of welcome and hospitality to our clients and shoppers. We hope we can share our hospitality with your next estate sale.
We know preparing for an estate sale can be a daunting task. So let us handle the process from start to finish with our team of experts we can assess your needs and determine the best way to help you.
Once an agreement is reached and sale dates have been chosen, we set up an estate sale in the residence, carefully, sorting, staging and pricing all items. We take excellent photographs of staged areas and featured items to promote on local websites to promote your sale. We also place sale specific signage locally to drive buyers to our location.
Each item is then researched and tagged. Prices are determined from fair market values determined by past sale prices from the internet, live auctions, prior tag sales and shops.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON SALE DAY
We conduct the sale over a 1-3 day weekend depending upon the sale circumstances. Staffed with our experienced and friendly personnel. Entry is controlled to a limited amount of buyers to control overcrowding and protect small valuable items in a secure manner. We accept cash, and debit cards to maximize sales.
