About New England Book Auctions

New England Auctions (d/b/a New England Book Auctions) was founded in 1980 as an auction gallery specializing in rare books and manuscripts. Over the years our auction house has held several thousand auctions and over 400 catalogues. Sales have included many valuable printed items from incunables to maps. Some of the highlights include Fitch’s A Map of the North West Parts of the United States of America (1785), for $170,000; Audubon's Octavo Birds of America For $75,000; and Colles’ A Survey of the Roads of the United States of America (1789), selling for $55,000.

We offer a wide selection of material to a worldwide base of buyers. Our experience and extensive reference library allows us to offer fine and rare books, stamps, original artwork, prints and graphics, autographs and manuscript documents.
