About Hilltop Estate & Appraisal Services
Hilltop Estate & Appraisal Services is a company based in Summit, New Jersey. Partners Kathy Ruck and Valerie Buonaguro have been involved in estate sales and appraisals for well over 25 years. Valerie and I are a part of a small group of people who own and operate The Summit Antiques Center and are also owners of the building and property in which it is housed. We have done business at the antiques center for 23 years.
Our knowledge of not only antiques, but also of contemporary home furnishings and house contents is vast. We work with several attorneys in Summit as well as local realtors in connection with oral appraisals, written appraisals for estate tax purposes and estate and moving sales.
We believe that handling one estate sale at a time is of the utmost importance. We don't believe in diluting our efforts to run multiple sales in one weekend. We handle all of our sales personally with a support staff that is appropriate to the size of the house and the sale contents.
