Jennifer will help sell, donate, or find a new home for the things you no longer need in your life. This service is provided at no cost to you, rather Jennifer is paid a portion of the proceeds. Past projects have ranged from estate sales, sale of a single piece of furniture, and liquidating almost $20,000 of equipment and tools from a commercial business.
ORGANIZING and DE-CLUTTERING
Has your closet gotten out of control? Are you embarrassed to open the door to the guest bedroom? Do you want to use your garage for your car rather than storage? Jennifer will work with you to sort, arrange, and organize your space so it works for you.
Jennifer has experience in organization projects of all sizes, including:
* Attic - sorting, labeling, and storing holiday decorations in a client's attic
* Garage - rearranging tools, sporting equipment, and automotive items
* Photos - designing a system to organize 40+ years of a family's photos
ADVOCACY, ASSISTANCE, and AGING IN PLACE
In the past few years, Jennifer has been honored as individuals approached her requesting these types of services. Her help can take many forms including:
* Medical advocate and health care proxy when undergoing surgery and extended hospitalization
* House-sitting, pool maintenance, and tending your garden while you travel
* Accompanying you to appointments with your doctor, broker, and other professionals to take notes and clarify communication
* Meeting service persons at your home when you’re away
* Monthly visits to help with minor maintenance projects (ex: climb a ladder to change light bulbs, bring holiday decorations down from the attic, decorate for a party, assist with computer/technology problems).
MOVING and RELOCATION
Ensure one of the most stressful events in your life goes smoothly! Jennifer has been called in to assist with all types of moves “” including some initiated months before, and more than one with less than a week’s notice! She will help you organize and determine what to pack/store/sell/donate, stage the house for showings, assist in determining which repairs and projects will pay for themselves by leading to a higher sales price, and teach you dozens of tricks to make the move less stressful.
