Novotny's Estate Sales recently held a sale for my family at a home with countless items that had been accumulated
over the course of three generations. The house had been scheduled to be listed for sale and we were looking for
an Estate sale company that would be aware of the history and value of what the house contained, and willing to
provide the research on those items whose values were not as easily assessed. We had an eclectic mix of antiques,
mid century furniture, paintings, both antique and through the 70's, and crystal, asian porcelain, antique dishes
, clothing, memorabilia and hundreds of books! We felt that we could entrust Novotny's with the entire sale.
From our first meeting we knew that we were in good hands. Shauna and her team knew exactly what they were doing
and exuded a sincere interest in researching the background and the value of what we had. Since nobody was living
at the house at the time we felt quite comfortable entrusting them with a key in order for them to come and go
while they were arranging and organizing for the sale. We couldn't believe the transformation that took place by
the date of the sale. Everything was beautifully staged, organized and thoughtfully displayed. The sale,
which spanned over 2 days, was very successful and almost everything sold. It was wonderful relief following
the sale to walk into a nearly empty house, with minimal effort on our part, and in such a short time. Novotny'
had even packed up their display tables immediately following the sale. We also later heard form the neighbor
how respectful and quiet they were while in the house and garage. They were really some of the nicest and though
ful people I've worked with...By the time they were finished it was like they were part of the family!
