Lily's Estate Sales LLC

A recent health issue forced us to move our brother out of a property in Overland Park and into a long-term healthcare facility. The move meant that we needed to clear out the house and sell most of our brother's personal possessions. This was a very challenging time for us and to complicate matters, we had to manage all of this from over 525 miles away. We contacted Kirsten at Lily's Estate Sales to handle the Estate Sale and her team was exceptional !! The entire process could not have gone any smoother. They were extremely professional, respectful, reliable, well organized, and they kept us well informed of everything up to and following the sale. It was a huge relief to know everything was being handled by such wonderful people.....thank you Kirsten and team!

We were absolutely astonished at the results and they exceeded our expectations on every level. We felt great that our mother's belongings were going to people who wanted and needed them for a fair price. Kirsten and the team were professional, respectful and together we had a wildly successful estate sale that turned those possessions into cash for us and for their team. I cannot articulate fully how pleased we were with the results. Their cut was [very fair] and frankly was worth twice that.

Lily's Sales hosted an estate sale for my mother's 50+ years of accumulated household and garden goods. We met with them on a Friday, agreed to their terms and because they had an opening and the weather was favorable, they began their work that Sunday. In 4 days, they turned my mother's home into a beautiful shop, displaying her belongings strategically and with care. The sale then progressed over Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the home was completely empty, vacuumed and turned back over to us. On Monday, we received the proceeds.

We hired Lily's to handle the estate sale for my father's house after he passed away. They came in, gave a rough estimate for what they thought the sale would bring, and then got to work. They handled literally everything, starting with a disorganized house full of stuff, organizing it for sale and selling it, and then leaving us with an empty house after the sale.

They ended up grossing about 30 percent higher than the original estimate, cut us a check the day after the sale, and perhaps most importantly left the house clean and empty afterwards so we could put it on the market. I think it would have taken us weeks or even months to empty the house by ourselves, but they cleaned it out as part of the service. It was a huge relief.

I am very pleased with the professionalism and level of service provided by Lily's. I would highly recommend them.

This is a great family owned business and their approach to in store estate sales is fantastic! Parking is great and there is no waiting in line (in hot or cold weather) to enter the store like you often experience at a home sale with limited capacity. The staff is always friendly and asking to take your hold items to keep your hands free while you continue to shop. Their prices are fair and the store hours are great for working people. I still appreciate home sales, but this approach is second to none and my new favorite way to shop estate sales!

Something for everyone at every sale! Huge space and knowledgeable, helpful staff. Prices are fair, especially as the sale progresses. And the photos!!! This family works hard for their clients and customers.

Great place, I've been going to almost every sale they have. Some weeks are better than others but tha'ts the nature of Estate Sales. Its great that you can pay by card too.

Lily's is the best! We hired them for my sister's estate sale after attending an estate sale they had done and were recommended by the family. They were the most caring, thorough and easy to work with. They handled all the details from start to finish with the utmost care and respect. I appreciated that the sale was at their facility and not in-home and it was clean and well organized from the house through the sale.

We sold our home in old Leawood because a family illness made it a necessity to move out of state. We decided that we would take very little of our possessions in the move and concluded that we needed to have an estate sale. We had been in the habit of going to other peoples’ estate sales so we were somewhat familiar with the local players. One of our favorites had also been recommended by our realtor so I called them and was referred to Kirsten at Lily’s Estate Sales.



Our home had sold faster than we thought it would and we needed to get the sale lined up quickly in order to have it completed by our closing date. Lily’s was more than accommodating! They came in and got everything set-up, priced, and ready for the sale. They executed a great sale and afterwards, they also performed the clean out to the great satisfaction of our realtor, as the house was ready to convey to the buyer!



This has been a rather traumatic experience for my family and yet Lily’s took all the anxiety and concern out of the process and genuinely took our burden and executed a fabulous estate sale. Their terms are fair and the payout was received quickly. If an estate or moving sale is in your future, I highly recommend Lily’s!
