1800's Small Jenny Lind Trunk A stamped heavy paper covers this Jenny Lind trunk with the original 2 ban with brass buttons on them. Jenny Lind was known as the Swedish Nightingale who came to America with PT Barnum and stole America’s heart in 1850. Most people believe that Jenny Linds were made in and after 1850 but they can be traced back to the 1830s in England. Many things were made using her name such as beds, highchairs, and including Jenny Lind Cabins that were insulated with paper. It still has its brass lock plate and lock, but not the latch.
